Welcome to Goal Planning Monday! It’s AUGUST! How are you doing with your planning this summer? If you are new here be sure to check out the guidelines and join in, we would love to have you! If you are returning, I hope you had a good week. Thank you for stopping in and sharing with us. Be sure to keep sharing with your friends as we all could use some accountability from time to time!
Here’s my update from last week:
Start doing Bible studies with the children again. DONE (but not to the best of our abilities….we need to work on that).
Get the kids down to 1 hour of electronics total per day (including schoolwork). NOT DONE (doesn’t help when the boy is sneaking down at 5am).
Water, water, water. NOT DONE.
Cut down on sugar greatly for the whole family. Sort of. Definitely for the kids but not so much for myself.
Stop ALL cow milk for Liam. DONE. He is feeling better.
Slowly cut back on grains/gluten for the whole family (Mike will not be thrilled). DONE…..slowly is the key.
Prepare for next student arriving a week after our current student leaves. DONE!
Do paint touch ups. NOT DONE but I did paint the kitchen walls and I think that counts.
My goals for this week
Homeschooling
Read a book or two with Morgaine for her summer reading challenge.
Do one science experiment with the kids. Liam could use a change when it comes to school even though he does enjoy his textbook. Maybe I need the change.
Heath/Wellness
Cut down on sugar myself. This won’t be the week to cut it out but I can certainly go easier on it.
Exercise. I haven’t been doing much but our newest student loves to hike so I’m hoping to get out a few times.
Miscellaneous
Paint the ceiling in the spare bedroom. I was resting in there yesterday and it is in pretty bad shape (remember our furnace exploded last year….and it never did come perfectly clean….try as a might) and a fresh coat of paint will go along way.
What are your goals for this week? Are you still in vacation mood? Homeschoolers, are you heading back to your books? Stop in and let us know!

Love Goal Planning Monday. Thanks for hosting it.
This is my first week participating. Thanks for hosting!
Sounds like you have some great goals for the week Katrina. Thanks so much for continuing to host this meme. I get so much more done when I set goals and post them on my blog to keep me accountable. (((Hugs)))
