First Post Ever Link Up

It’s always interesting to learn why other’s started to blog. It’s also important from time to time to go back on one’s own blog to see what direction you started with and if you’ve stayed true to the purpose of your blog, and if not, are you happy with the direction that your blog took instead. For these reasons, I’m thrilled to tell you about the First Post Ever at Training Children up for Christ.

My first post was called Once Upon a Time and it perfectly summed up why I started writing this blog in the first place. I would love to get back to creative writing…..actually, I’d love to start writing anything that isn’t reviews and memes on this blog. I think I need to keep in mind the purpose of this blog was and just start writing again. If you are feeling inspired to share your first post be sure to link up at Training Children up for Christ and join the fun.

  1. I read your first post but decided to leave the comment here so you would be sure to see it. Great, wonderful first post. I joined the First Post Ever linky too but not until Sunday afternoon. I love the reason you decided to start blogging. So, have you picked up a pen, or your keyboard, and written anything besides on your blog??? I have a couple non blog projects that are ongoing but have not had time to devote to writing on them.

Also, I wanted to make sure you were ok. I do not see the post and linky for Goal Planning Monday. I hope things are fine. Don’t feel like you have to post a linky just because I posted my goals.. that is fine. I just hope all is well and that you just didn’t have time yesterday to post it. I know how that goes. I have a meme I do on my blog and have missed it many times. I also got discouraged when no one joined in and I quit it for a while. Just wanted you to know GPM and more importantly you were missed. Prayers and Hugs

    • I’m about to write up a post for GPM (after I get the half asleep baby in my lab to bed). I’ve been stressed and my body has been reacting to it. I think two sets of students over the summer was just too much for us with homeschooling and our normal summer stress. Our student left this morning and I vegetated this afternoon and am feeling somewhat human this evening. GPM is pretty quiet lately but I like doing it.

I have done a little writing but not a lot. Mostly outlining ideas but I’ve not gotten very far with it. I will at some point write again but I think I’m still in the young children phase of life. I hope that you are able to find time to work on your projects as well. It isn’t always easy for sure.

Thanks for checking in on me. ((((hugs)))) to you and have a great week!
