I just wanted to post to let you know that our move went smoothly. We’ve been here for about 10 days now and it feels like home. We are in the middle of farmland, so it will be exciting as things thaw in the spring. I am about as remote as I feared and for a while it seemed like we would not be able to get any kind of internet service. Most providers stop LESS THAN 1km up the road. We did find something in the end so I will still be around. We certainly had to pay for it, though. Companies like to take advantage of those that don’t have options. Anyways, I’m just glad that I’ll still be able to review and write (and check facebook, too). It would have been a long winter alone with the three kids without the internet. I will be back soon with photos and a lot more to share. I’m sure I’ll be around here a fair bit more in the coming weeks. I will be all set for Goal Planning Monday in the morning as well so I hope that you will check back!
Your new home is beautiful. I’m glad that you’re settled and that you have an internet connection. I fear I’d go crazy without the internet.
It’s beautiful!! I hear ya on the lack of choice of internet providers. We live out in the country too and have very limited options for anything other than dial-up.
