I’ve been blogging for years. I’ve promised to be back with more information on a variety of topics that are interesting to me. I’ve promised to share certain family stories. I’ve promised to share pictures about some of the adventures that I’ve mention in passing. Unfortunately, I’m not terribly organized with my blogging and a lot of good ideas that I have fall to the wayside, never to be picked up and developed into something for you, my readers, to enjoy! Opps! Thankfully, our first review as part of the Mosaic Reviews team was to choose one of several FREE blogging planners to review. My choice was the bright daisy themed 2013 Blogging Planner by Mama Jenn.
I’ll admit that I choose this planner because it was one of the bigger ones offered. I like myself a book that I can print off, bind and carry around and this planner was no exception. I feel that there was everything that a blogger could possibly want included in this planner. At a whopping 50 plus pages there was lots to see and use. Each month was prettily colour coded with daisies, which was pleasing to my esthetic side, and drew me to the planner originally.
The monthly planning pages helped me see if I had blog posts scheduled evenly through the month. I also used this page to track the daily stats on my page to see if there was a day that generated more views than others. Included on the monthly calendar was check boxes for the various social media platforms. I thought I was going to appreciate them more than I did, though. Turns out, I usually just automatically go to the various sites and link up when I’m done typing my posts.
I also really appreciated both the giveaway/review and the blog planning pages. As I get more active in the blogging world again I know I will like having a place to keep all my notes – not more lost scraps of paper for me. You may actually get to read more of the posts that I’ve promised you, as I think I will be more likely to write them if I actually take the time to jot down a few notes instead of just making a mental note to write about something. It’s also nice to be able to write down all the information about giveaways and winners in one spot. I usually have to dig through a bunch of e-mails for each giveaway and it is much easier just to open my planner and have the information readily available.
I hope that you will take a moment to look at this planner and some of the other reviews made my fellow members of the Mosaic Reviews Team. If you a blogger, you may find that a little bit of planning goes a long way in terms of reaching the goals you want to accomplish as a blogger, whether it be to post weekly updates or develop a following. I know that I was pleasantly surprised with how much more organized I felt having this planner to use.
